Although small, this art museum in pretty Volunteer Park (hey look, there's the Space Needle off in the distance!) is a rejuvenating place to spend an hour or two. The collections range through East, South and Central Asia, from contemporary films from Iranian women directors to ancient Japanese woodblock prints. Show up on the first Saturday of the month for free admission (donations appreciated) and family-friendly activities aimed at younger kids with a creative bent.
The Asian Art Museum is a museum well worth visiting, there are many Asian artifacts and the Chinese art is a big part of it and it is very welcoming after the visit
The Seattle Asian Art Museum is a well-known cultural and art museum in Seattle. Children will love it very much. On the first time I went there, I was impressed by someone singing on the side of the road. Its building belongs to the Art Deco style of 1933. In 1991, the Seattle Art Museum moved its main collection from this building and moved it to the Seattle city area, and created the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
The art museum has nice permanent exhibits and interesting temporary exhibits. I really like the building and grounds more.
