the heyday of Sendai Castle
There is an admission fee, but if you don't enter the museum, you won't know anything about Sendai Castle, so be sure to enter.
Aoba Castle Ruins Museum Food Court
Sansai soba and matcha soft serve were delicious
There aren't many exhibits, but there are many interesting ones, and if the young man isn't busy,
he should be able to explain each one in detail (I'm not a guide, so I can't take you around for a long time).

Shiboyan Shrine, located in Yanzao City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, is also one of the most important shrines in Miyagi Prefecture. It is also known as the first shrine of the Lu Olympics. It has been worshipped by the court and the people since ancient times. The
Salt Kitchen Shrine was built in 1704 by the fourth generation of the Sendai Ida Gang Village, and the fifth generation Idaji Village. Three main halls and two worship halls were built side by side. It is also rare in the country. At present, 14 buildings and stone houses (the former shrine of the shrine), such as the main hall, the worship hall, and the four-legged shrine, have been designated as important cultural heritages of Japan.
In addition, the "Salt Sakura" in the Shizuoka Shrine is also very famous. The flowering period is very beautiful in early May every year, and we are even more fortunate to meet the most beautiful winter cherry here.

Sendai Tanabata Festival Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
one of the three major festivals in Tohoku,
I came to Sendai on another matter.
I didn't know about the Sendai Tanabata Festival until the day before
I had some time before my business, so I took a walk.
it was difficult to walk because of the decorations, but (to prevent infectious diseases?) It was lifted up moderately and it became easier to walk.
A relaxed enka song will make your heart happy. The night was bright and relaxing.

[Sendai Tanabata Festival] This time in Japan, Ive been lucky enough to catch one of the three great festivals in the Tohoku region of Japan. Specially prepared for the yukata to wear a view, it is quite a sense of taking pictures.
From the hotel, walk to the entrance to the festival. The streets are full of gorgeous paper ornaments. These paper ornaments are made by each merchant on both sides of the street as well as locals. They have their own characteristics, such as the same Piece of art.
Write your wishes on paper and hang on bamboo branches. The colorful wish strips are flying in the air, romantic and beautiful.
One of the large paper cranes with a stack of primary school students is very spectacular.
When you walk to the Festival Square, there are local traditional activities being staged, with drums, people singing and dancing together to celebrate the Tanabata Festival.
Here, you can feel the tradition, history, food, colorful stage activities... This is also the most favorite charm of the Sendai Tanabata Festival, from day to night, quite a stroll.

Traveling in the northeast of Japan, if you just caught up with the Qixi Festival, its so lucky!
Sendai Tanabata Festival, the largest Chinese Valentine's Day festival in Japan, is known as the three major festivals in the Northeast.
Not far from Sendai Station, more than 3,000 arcades, 1.5 km in length, decorated with luxurious blown paint and enamel ornaments, you can enjoy the works of popular characters and elaborate handicrafts, perfect interpretation What is the look of happiness.
5 different themes, 7 different decorations, including paper baskets, paper clothes, origami cranes, purses, nets, paper baskets, floating flags, symbolizing learning, longevity, wealth, harvest, etc. A good meaning.
style, there are cartoon characters cute, red and pink romantic, more origami flowers, colorful balls of fresh and pleasant, look around, full of romance and happiness.
I am wearing a summer yukata, slowly moving through this beautiful romantic arcade, free to do.
Originally, the good way to travel is to go to the local festival.
Miaomei, beautiful, this is the yearning, poetic life

Sendai West Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Sendai West Park
#thingstodo
Fun place to visit on weekend. Lots of people having picnics on mats under the trees. There were at least 20 vendors selling locally produced food for ¥500-¥600 a serving. Cherry blossoms still very beautiful even though peak viewing time has passed. There was also a small collection of vendors selling goods that appeared to be second hand . Very nice place to relax for a few hours but you need a water proof mat as there is not grass to sit on and the ground is just moist dirt.

The cherry blossoms in April have entered the phase of dying in Kansai, while the northeastern region is flourishing. I saw the cherry blossoms in the West Park on the way. I took the Sendai Subway Tozai Line from the station to the West Park to see the cherry blossoms. Feel the real life of the local Japanese.
In the eyes of the Chinese people, cherry blossom viewing (or flower viewing) is to take a ride to the suburbs. After getting off the bus, compose photos in the flowers and sunbathe friends circle. In fact, the beauty of Chunguang and Huahai does not only appear in the circle of friends or in the group. The Japanese enjoy the flower more like a ritual. The whole family or friends sit together under the cherry tree, drink and eat food, and feel the petals falling. Romance, talking and laughing in the bright spring, walking in the middle of them, there is a feeling of envy. Although the photos are beautiful, they are not as real as they are.

Osaki Hachimangu Shrine Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)

The Hachimangu Shrine is the first guardian shrine in Sendai. It has a history of 400 years.
In the Heian era, Sakagami Tamura was praying for the long-term martial arts, and the Guardian of the martial arts "Usaki Hachimangu Shrine" was greeted by the current Mizusawa City, Iwate Prefecture, and the "Hachimanji Hachimangu Shrine" was established, becoming the Osaki Hachimangu Shrine. Predecessor.
1607 was moved to the current location by Ida Masamune, and finally formed the existing Gossip Palace and survived so far, it is not easy!

Gokoku Shrine Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
GOKOKU SHRINE ⛩✨
Japan has multiple Gokoku Shrines all over the country. There's one in Naha, another one in Aichi, and finally in Sendai. We just happened to pass by this shrine on our way home. Of course, it has the usual huge Torii gate, so we snapped a picture. First pic was during Spring and the last 2 pics was during Winter.
We never got the chance of going inside because it was always later when we pass by there, so all we always manage to get is a pic of the Torii gate.

To wash the hand into the shrine, it has basically become a ritual, meaning purification, you can give it a try.
Come to this shrine, there is a very embarrassing story, that is, a friend said that a funeral is being held, so that it is quiet, and the result is asked, only to know that the other is just holding a ceremony, or to celebrate the harvest of the harvest, simply heaven Its a bad place.
But there is one thing to be consistent, that is to keep quiet. The sacrifice was full of Japanese style, and a few shots were taken to commemorate.
