Shaxian City Temple is located on Wenmiao Road, the east of Shaxian, Sanming City. Built in the Qianlong period of Qing dynasty, facing south and the Shaxi River, it features provincial cultural relics conservation. The temple's floor plan is like a rectangle, composed by the gate, the middle temple, the main hall, and others. The main hall is five rooms wide with a strong beam frame structure. There are stone human and animal sculptures in the courtyard. The existing wooden frame and some high walls were built in the Qing Dynasty. It is a massive and well reserved ancient complex.
