Shandan Army Horse Farm is located in the Da Maying Grassland in the north of the South Qilian Mountains in Shandan County, Zhangye Prefecture. It was built in the Western Han Dynasty, and is currently the world's oldest, Asia's largest and the world's second largest horse farm.
