Baoshan Martyrs Cemetery

Baoshan Martyrs Cemetery is located on Youyi Branch Road and Baoyang Road. The cemetery is buried with the remains of martyrs who died in liberating Shanghai. A 15-meter-high martyrs memorial tower stands in the center of the cemetery. This cemetery is designated as a youth education base by the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Baoshan Martyrs Cemetery is located at No. 599 Baoyang Road (near the road of friendship) in Baoshan District, Shanghai. Personal condolence martyrs do not need to make an appointment in advance. If it is a group activity, because there is a process to mourn and give a speech, so you must make an appointment in advance to avoid conflict with other team time.

On the eve of the Qingming Festival, we took a car to Baoshan Martyrs' Cemetery to remember the martyrs and sacrifice education activities. Entering the cemetery, you can see the standing martyr monument, standing on the peak of the center of the cemetery, tall and majestic, we collectively bow to the revolutionary martyrs three times, expressing our admiration in our hearts.

Every Tomb-sweeping Day, activities to sacrifice revolutionary martyrs should be organized. This time, we went to Baoshan Martyrs'Cemetery in Wusong, Baoshan for sacrifice. The whole cemetery is a small area. The martyr square is directly opposite the gate. There is a monument on the square with the inscription of Chen Yi on it. Nearly 60 tombstones were placed on both sides of the square, each bearing the names of 32 martyrs. There are more than 2,000 martyrs here. The Memorial on the right side of the cemetery shows the PLA's battle against Shanghai. It was awesome to see it.
