Dishui Lake is an artificial lake located in the center of Lingang New City in Shanghai's Pudong District. Located far from downtown Shanghai, it is a quiet and mostly tranquil area that has seen various bursts of development. The Shanghai Maritime Museum and the new Shanghai Planetarium are located here. With a circumference of approximately 8 km and ringed with walking paths, Dishui Lake is a popular spot for outdoor activities. While enjoying the fresh air, you can fly a kite, fish, or cycle around the lake. Drop into the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Harbour City hotel, which is also located along the lake. The hotel's architecture resembles a spinning pinwheel.
