Liu Shaoqi's hometown scenic spot is located in Huaminglou Town, Ningxiang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province. Liu Shaoqi's former residence is located in Tanzi Chong, Huaming Building, Ningxiang City, Hunan Province. The local people have contributed materials. On March 5, the former residence was opened to the public. In the winter of 1982, Deng Xiaoping, chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China, wrote: "Comrade Liu Shaoqi's former residence".
