Shenshou Art gallery

Shenshou Art Museum is located on the banks of the beautiful Lihe River in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. This is a century-old two-story blue brick red building, its predecessor is the famous industrialist and educator Mr. Zhang Shu founded China's first embroidery vocational education school - "Nantong Women's Red Learning Institute" former site. It is now a municipal cultural relics protection unit, and a national intangible cultural heritage Nantong Shenshou "simulation embroidery" (Shen embroidery) inheritance base.

Shen Shou Art Museum was built in 1992. It shows a group of historical photos and embroidery objects of Shen Shou, the master of modern embroidery in China, and introduces Shen Shou's artistic performance and the embroidery art essence of his disciples in detail. There are many excellent products in the exhibition here, which is very good.

Shenshou Art Museum is now renamed Shenxiu Museum 3, located at No. 23, Xiangyang South Road, Nantong, just on the river bank, the entire museum building covers an area not large, mainly the exhibition hall on the first floor, the exhibits inside are indeed very beautiful.

Walking on the tree-lined trail, a two-story building facing the Luohe River, with blue brick tiles and red-lacquered doors and windows, here is the Shen Shou Art Museum. It is the earliest embroidery art school in China created by Zhang Shu, an industrialist at the end of Qing Dynasty. Each work is wonderful, whether it is flowers, birds, insects, fish, or characters. The big photo at the door is a group photo of a family of four presented to Obama as a national gift. The eyes are particularly vivid and praise the excellence of embroidery art.

Nantong Shenshou Art Museum is in the small alley opposite the Cultural Palace, near the Lihe River, a quite distinctive building, showing a group of historical photos and embroidery objects of China's modern embroidery master Shenshou, and introducing in detail Shenshou's artistic performance and the embroidery art essence of his disciples.
