Ci'en Temple is the largest existing Buddhist temple in Shenyang. The temple sits west facing east and covers an area of about 12,000 square meters. On the front is the mountain gate, inside the gate there is a bell and a drum on the second floor, and the building towards the west temple is divided into three roads. At the forefront of the middle road is the Palace of Heavenly Kings, three rooms wide, painted on purlins, vermilion wars, and statues of the four heavenly kings, Maitreya and Wei Tuo are enshrined in the hall. To the west are the Daxiong Hall, Bhikkhu Altar, and Tibetan Scripture Building.
Ci'en Temple is open! Amitabha 🙏
The rituals done by the masters are also very good, very complete ☀️☀️☀️
This is a Buddhist temple with a long history. It is located on Danan Street, Shenhe District, Shenyang City. The transportation is convenient and the surrounding environment is very beautiful and charming. It is highly respected and is a place worth visiting.
The largest Buddhist temple in Shenyang, the courtyard sits west and faces east, and there is a cross courtyard on the south side. The main building, the Daxiong Hall, is five rooms wide, and there are statues of the third Buddha and eighteen arhats. The temple is very incense.
This temple is a lot smaller than Changan Temple which I personally find more worthwhile going. But considering it’s like a 10 mins taxi ride away, no harm visiting both.
Ci'en Temple is a very small, but very quaint temple. It is just off a bustling street in Shenyang, and you have to know what you are looking for as there are no signs for it. It takes 5 minutes, but ...
