Ci'en Temple is the largest existing Buddhist temple in Shenyang. The temple sits west facing east and covers an area of about 12,000 square meters. On the front is the mountain gate, inside the gate there is a bell and a drum on the second floor, and the building towards the west temple is divided into three roads. At the forefront of the middle road is the Palace of Heavenly Kings, three rooms wide, painted on purlins, vermilion wars, and statues of the four heavenly kings, Maitreya and Wei Tuo are enshrined in the hall. To the west are the Daxiong Hall, Bhikkhu Altar, and Tibetan Scripture Building.
