Fujinmen, commonly known as "Dadongmen", is one of the nine gates of Shenyang City in the Qing Dynasty. Fujinmen was rebuilt in 1998 and is located in the east of Shengjing Ancient Culture Street, opposite Huaiyuanmen in the west. The Fujin Gate is 20 meters high, covers an area of 556 square meters and has a construction area of 500 square meters. It is a landmark building in Shenyang. Fujin means to appease the neighbors. When other ethnic minorities entered Shenyang and paid homage to Huang Taiji, they all went to the door of Fujin. Fujinmen has certain etiquette functions. At the same time, Fujinmen is located in the due east of the ancient city. It is the place where the sun rises every day, and it also has the auspicious meaning of purple air coming from the east.
