Shima Spain Village Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Shima Span Village
#thingstodo I recently returned from an exciting vacation at Shima Span Village in Mie prefecture, and I would like to share some of my impressions with the readers. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience here, and I would rate Shima Span Village with 4 out of 5 stars.
One of the highlights of Shima Span Village is its prime location. Situated right on the coastline, the resort makes the most of the breathtaking scenery in the area. I had the opportunity to gaze at the beautiful blue sea and enjoy the serene atmosphere, creating a tranquil and rejuvenating ambiance.
Furthermore, the staff service at Shima Span Village is commendable. They are incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist guests. I received dedicated care throughout my stay, from the check-in process to any requests or inquiries I had during my time there.
The accommodations at Shima Span Village were comfortable and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the resort offers a variety of recreational facilities and activities, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
While my overall experience was highly positive, there were a few areas that could be improved. The dining options at the resort were decent, but I felt that there could have been more variety and creativity in the menu choices. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection in certain areas of the resort was inconsistent, which was a minor inconvenience.
In conclusion, Shima Span Village offers a wonderful vacation experience with its stunning location, excellent staff service, and comfortable accommodations. Although there is room for improvement in the dining options and Wi-Fi connectivity, these minor shortcomings did not significantly detract from the overall experience. I would highly recommend Shima Span Village to those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Mie prefecture.
Spain version amusement park
#thingstodo I liked the amusement park, it is quite complete and entertaining. What I didn't like is that for being set in Spain it leaves a lot to be desired, for example there could be more restaurants with Spanish food and there aren't any, only one paella restaurant that was closed longer than it was open. Then in the souvenir shops there were also more items from other places than non-Spanish ones and the attractions could also have a theme that had more to do with Spain. In terms of entertainment an 8/10 but in terms of theme 6/10. It represents my country very little. It's still worth visiting, even just once.
Underrated Theme Park
Come here for the first time with school trip. Great place. Totally underrated. So many nice spots to take pictures. There are many family friendly ride. Came here on December, the wind was very cold(ps: it’s beside the sea so, the wind is blowing strongly). It was unforgettable memory. I get to reunite with my friends and made new friend! She is very kind and friendly. #2024wish

Breathtaking View of Ago Bay
#cherryblossom2024
Stunning view. Visitor center a stone's throw away is a good starting point to decide how much you wish to explore. They have Oculus headsets for a virtual tour of the national park too, so that you can pick your routes.
The deck here provides a breathtaking view of Ago bay. Not many visitors when here at the start of December. There is a cafe here too if walking isn't your thing. No pets though.

Ise Grand Shrine Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Osaka Surrounding Tours Don't just know about Nara, find out where the locals in Japan go for fun
Recommended the following three destinations to introduce to everyone one by one
📍Detailed Address:
Ise Jingu Shrine
Nachi Falls
Kumano Kodo Trail
🗓Itinerary:
From Osaka, head south towards the southern coastline. Nachi Falls. Although it can't compare to the grandeur of domestic waterfalls, being just a gentle stream, the ancient temples and trees surrounding the waterfall, and the scenic mountain roads along the way, are worth experiencing. Continue along the coastline to the east, and you will find many Kumano Kodo trail markers, each serving as a scenic lookout. Further east, all the way to the seaside is the famous Ise Jingu Shrine, one of the most prestigious shrines in all of Japan. The focus is on the Edo-period architecture at the entrance of the shrine, with lots of delicious food, making it very photogenic.
⏳Play Time:
I visited in spring, a very comfortable season. Generally, spring and autumn are good times to visit anywhere.
🚉Transportation Tips:
You can fly to either Osaka or Nagoya. Then take JR or drive yourself.
💰Average Cost:
Tickets for these attractions are very cheap, or even free. It's basically just the cost of flights, hotels, car rentals, and meals.
🌟Highlights:
The natural landscape is integrated with the cultural landscape. They complement each other.

Niiname-no-Matsuri, a Japanese holiday that takes place on Nov 23, is an exciting time to visit the country.
This festival, steeped in history and regarded as an important event by the imperial family, celebrates the bountiful autumn harvest and expresses gratitude for the year's new crops, especially rice.
During this festive occasion, freshly harvested grains are dedicated at shrines to show reverence for agriculture and thankfulness towards the deities.
At the heart of the celebration is the tasting of the newly harvested rice, with the emperor himself responsible for confirming its deliciousness. Prayers and offerings are also made to the gods, seeking the nation's prosperity and well-being.

Full-fledged Roller Coaster
#cherryblossom2024
It's a full-fledged coaster, and personally I think it has enough impact to compete with the Flying Dinosaur.
There are only a few drops with a floating feeling, about 3 times. Most of it rotated while falling, so it didn't bother me much.
Best of all, the waiting time is short, so you can get refills as many times as you like. Even during the holidays, you'll have to wait at most 20 minutes, and if things go well, you'll be able to get off and get back on right away.

La Mer The Classic Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The La Mer THE CLASSIC French Restaurant
2016 G7 Ise Shima Conference was held at this hotel, and the seats at the entrance of the restaurant were still placed as they were at the time. The film "Gorgeous Family" filmed in Japan was shot here. The
table is ready, and the Japanese-English menu makes people's dishes at the glance at a glance. It includes pre-dinner bread, appetizers, salads, soups, two staple foods, desserts, coffee or tea, and fruit. Before each dish is served, the waiter's sister will introduce it softly and whispering. Although I don't understand it, I feel like a spring breeze. The lobster salad of
appetizer is not simple. The lobster has a translation in Japanese called "Isehai Old", which shows the status of Ise lobster in Japanese seafood. Jelly gel-like is actually made of lobster broth, which is delicious and delicious. The taste of the mouth is from the sea.
Ise lobster cream soup is also the restaurant's recommended dish, the perfect combination of French cooking and Japanese seafood.
There are two main dishes, abalone and black hair and cow. All the dishes are made from local ingredients of Shima, and they are also the top ingredients. The method of making meals uses French cuisine, but it seems to have some differences compared with French meals. It is more in line with the tastes of Asians. Each dish is simple and unadorned, basically it is a direct loading. On, very simple and clear. The weight is not as big as Western food, in line with the stomach of Asians. The waiter also controls the pace of the meal very well, not too tired and tired.
