Quanzhou Luoga Temple | The romantic and healing Buddha country on the sea where gods exist on the other shore
Thankful for coming to Quanzhou Luoga Temple💗, it's hard to describe the shock of the Buddha country on the sea in a few words, especially when looking at it from the other shore, the temple and the sea blend together to appear more sacred, grandeur and solemnity coexist, making people naturally settle down, quietly embracing the sea breeze and the Sanskrit sounds, the trip is worthwhile.
Quanzhou Luoga Temple, ticket🎫free
📍: Golden Coast, Shishi City, Quanzhou, Fujian
🚗: About 1h by taxi from Quanzhou city area (fare around 85r-100r), there is also a bus, but it takes about 2h-3h, actually renting a car in Quanzhou is more cost-effective, because each attraction is not too close, the fare is not much different from renting a car and it's more free~ (parking at the temple gate is 10r without time limit)
I know many people come to check in the same style as their current boyfriend~
Remember to bring a telephoto lens for better photos, a drone is even better~
I also want to remind everyone that some shooting positions require standing on the beach rocks, the rocks are covered with moss and are particularly slippery, I saw people slipping, be sure to pay attention to safety! Check the weather early and do a good job of sun protection, the sea breeze is strong, the onion dressing method is appropriate, dark clothes are more photogenic~ That's all

Seaside Temple
The Seaside Temple, also known as the Loga Temple, is located on the Gongyu Island on the east coast of the Golden Coast in Shishi. It is a rare seaside temple built by the sea, allowing you to feel the grandeur of Buddhism and the momentum of the sea. The mountains are hidden in the city, and the temple is hidden in the sea. It is known as the Loga Temple in the Buddhist Kingdom of Heaven and Sea, which is very beautiful.
Try to choose a sunny day to come here. The sea surrounds on all sides, and you enter from the bridge entrance. When you arrive, the tide has receded. If you can encounter it, it is extremely spectacular. The tranquility of the temple is different from the hustle and bustle of the city, which is very comfortable and pleasant.
In the summer at three or four o'clock, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Loga Temple while strolling by the sea. At sunset, there is another beautiful scene. If you like to take pictures, you can come here.
Worldly Eats
There really is a temple on the sea, and it's in Quanzhou!
In Quanzhou, known as "half city of fireworks, half city of immortals", half is temples and half is daily life.
Quanzhou has never lacked temples ⛩️, but this sea temple is so special~
.
It is located on the Gold Coast, facing the Taiwan Strait, surrounded by the sea on three sides, and the waves keep hitting the reefs 🌊.
Only one stone bridge connects this side of the earth, and from the sky, it looks like a floating paradise in the sea~
.
The temple is entirely yellow, and at sunset 🌇, the sunlight shines on the temple.
From afar, it looks like a golden palace~
Can't help but say, Quanzhou people are really good at building temples!
.
Walking in every corner of the temple, you can feel surrounded by the ocean.
On one side is the sea, on the other side is the Pure Land of Buddha 🙏🏻.
Who would have thought that temples and the sea could be combined so charmingly!
.
🏯Luogas Temple
Suggestion to drive 🚗, it takes 1.5 hours from Xiamen.
Admission is free, and there is a parking lot at the entrance.
Next to it is a beach 🏖️, and there are quite a few locals playing here~
.
📷It is not recommended for everyone to stand on the platform to take photos. It is very dangerous to fall onto the rocks and the sea if you lose your balance.❌
The wind is a bit strong, it's better to come on a sunny day ☀️.

Yongning Ancient Town Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Yongning Ancient City|Shishi
Yongning Ancient City In fact, it is not too big to say that it is small or small. If you go shopping and eat and have a holiday, you may have to hold an event and it will take 2-3 hours to walk. There will be a lot of special southern Fujian snacks along the way, such as the fist mother egg yolk beef simmered grass and the like. When the ancient city walked in and walked for a few hundred meters, there was a big square. The square was facing a temple. On the right hand side of the temple, there were many buildings in southern Fujian. The architectural style is very particular and the photos are OK.

Experiencing the New Year vibes in Yongning Ancient Town
Today is the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, and I came to Yongning Ancient Town to experience the fading New Year vibes. There are fewer people than the previous days, but the New Year vibes have not diminished at all. The goods sold are similar to usual, and the prices have not changed much. But there are more snack vendors than usual, selling fried skewers, fried stinky tofu, fresh sugarcane juice, etc. There are also flower sellers, lilies are really cheap at 8 yuan each, while they are 20 yuan each at the Agricultural Science Institute flower market, and tulips are 2 yuan each.
Today I bought Red Sister's dried tofu (I always buy it, it's delicious), sour jujube noodles, hawthorn cake, fried vegetarian gorgonzola, and also bought two lilies, then had lunch at 'Baozi Heaven' across the street, it's really economical, there are quite a few varieties of bun fillings, the key is that the porridge is three yuan a bowl and can be refilled indefinitely, must give a thumbs up. There are several kinds of cold dishes, six yuan a plate, you can mix and match and serve yourself.
After eating and drinking, I headed home, the Jingli Expressway was smooth all the way.

The ancient garrison town by the sea, and the Loga Temple of a leaf--a glimpse of Yongning, Quanzhou
Quanzhou is a magical city, there are buses to its towns and counties from the old city, although it seems to be dozens of stops, in fact, each stop is not far apart, so it is very suitable for people like me--traveling alone.
Yongning Ancient Garrison Town was built in the Ming Hongwu period, and it was one of the three major garrisons in the country with Tianjin Wei and Weihai Wei at its peak. The ancient garrison town is built against the mountain, shaped like a turtle, and was called Aocheng in ancient times. Yongning Town began in the Tang Dynasty, it is a town that has experienced more than 600 years of gunpowder and war, and now it is quaint and peaceful, and the time is quiet. Yongning is also a town with the highest 'density' of gods, the whole town is divided into thirty-two shops, each shop has its own guardian god, and more than one. And there are gods in the corners of the small town, on the bed, and on the trees. Among them, the Chenghuang Temple is the largest and best preserved in the Minnan region, and is known as the blessed land of Yongning. There is also the ancient cannon from the Ming Jiajing period under the temple steps, from the broken muzzle, you can know what kind of fierce battle this ancient city has experienced. Chenghuang Temple also has the story of the Japanese army 'burning Chenghuang Temple three times but not getting it' during the Anti-Japanese War...
After going through the baptism of the deep history of the ancient city, passing through the Gold Coast, on the sea at one end of the bay, there is the 'Loga Temple' that is like a flat boat alone on the sea. Although it is not an ancient temple, it was built in the millennium, but because of its unique geographical location and Li Xian's check-in, it quickly became popular. After passing through the Golden Bridge and through the mountain gate, there is a wide open sea and sky in front of you, as if you have stepped into another realm. The sea breeze in the winter of Lingnan is exceptionally cold, the sound of the waves layer by layer, the incense in the incense burner is scattered with the wind and melted into this sea and sky. Thousands of prayers, like the tide coming and going, silently chanting mercy in front of the temple, the past is also in the present, then, may everything go well! Discovery Society

Wanshou Pagoda Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Auntie Tower and Liusheng Stone Tower, please call me Tuta Female King. The Guru Tower is located in Baogai Mountain, Shishi City. It is a hollow stone tower built with granite. It is the navigation mark of the sea-going ship in the past. The tower has five floors and 21 meters high. It is particularly embarrassing because of the mountain. The Auntie Tower is backed by Quanzhou Bay and faces the Taiwan Strait. It is about the lock of the water and the southeast.

The ancient towers that witness the emotions and history of the hometown of overseas Chinese have a poignant story behind them
Gushao Tower, located on Baogai Mountain in Shishi City, is also known as 'Wanshou Tower' or 'Guan Suo Tower'. It was built during the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of over 800 years. Gushao Tower backs onto Quanzhou Bay and faces the Taiwan Strait, embodying the spirit of controlling the waterway and guarding the southeast, hence it is also called 'Guan Suo Tower'. During the Southern Song Dynasty, Quanzhou Port was one of the largest trading ports in the world, with a very prosperous foreign trade, conducting business with more than seventy countries and regions. At that time, Gushao Tower became a navigational marker for ships at sea.

Shimao Maritime Silk Road Museum of Fujian Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Must visit the museum in Shishi | Maritime Silk Road
| Maritime Silk Road. The famous Shimao Maritime Silk Road Museum in Shishi is located in Shishi Shimao Sky City, which is part of an overall project. Shimao Sky City is a modern comprehensive mall, and the museum is right next to the mall.
This museum can be considered as a popular spot in Shishi city. When I went there, I even saw a young lady live streaming.
The design of the museum draws on the architectural elements of traditional local houses in Fujian, which is particularly local in style and recognizability, and it is also very suitable for bringing children to see the exhibition.

Wulin Traditional Village Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Jinjiang Wulin traditional residential houses
I went there before heading to Quanzhou Airport. It's not too far from the airport by taxi. The village is filled with beautiful Minnan-style mansions and red-brick ancient houses, similar to Wudian City. Development came late, so many are empty, but there are some coffee shops and restaurants now, and I had dessert at the Wutiao Ren restaurant. The visitor center offers free luggage storage, which is quite convenient. The only issue is that it's a bit of a walk from the outside to get in, especially if you're dragging luggage, as you have to walk further in to store it. The blend of Chinese and Western architecture and the red-brick ancient houses are very pleasing to the eye, and it's not too crowded.

Visit Jinjiang Wulin during the Spring Festival
Visit the traditional village of Jinjiang Wulin in Quanzhou during the Spring Festival, a charming traditional village located in Jinjiang, Fujian, with a history of over 600 years. Surrounded by greenery, the village features red-brick ancient houses scattered in an orderly fashion, a treasure of Southern Fujian culture, known as the 'Overseas Chinese Architecture Museum'.
Wulin ancient village was established during the Hongwu period of the Ming dynasty, developed during the Qing dynasty, and flourished in the late Qing and early Republic of China period. The village preserves more than two hundred century-old buildings, including Southern Fujian official-style mansions, 'Fanzi' buildings, and Sino-Western eclectic architecture, each carrying the story of an overseas Chinese. Here, one can admire the exquisitely beautiful stone and brick carvings and experience the characteristics of Southern Fujian's red-brick houses.
Strolling on the stone-paved roads of Wulin, one can feel the ancient Southern Fujian atmosphere and listen to the stories of the hometown of overseas Chinese. Explore the century-old houses, appreciate the Sino-Western architectural style, and taste the profound overseas Chinese culture.
We went during the Spring Festival when the crowd was larger, so I recommend visiting on a regular weekend for a self-driving tour. There's a free parking lot at the entrance, and a shuttle bus from the parking lot to the entrance of the scenic area, with a round-trip ticket price of 9 yuan per person.
Dab on some makeup, change your outfit, and the photos will turn out great. You can take a photo like Zhao Liying, or try the Peranakan style, which is particularly flattering for ladies with good figures. It's also very beautiful, but I skipped this part during the Spring Festival because changing outfits and taking photos is too time-consuming.
There are also quite a few coffee shops in the scenic area, as well as several restaurants. For those who like picnicking, bringing your own food is also an option. In fact, if you don't take photos in costume, half a day is enough to wander around and then head to the city to enjoy Southern Fujian cuisine.
Quanzhou city is too crowded, so visiting Wulin to experience the ancient Southern Fujian architectural complex is a good choice.

I really haven't been abroad! Yet everyone says I've gone to Nanyang
I never expected Quanzhou to hide such a beautiful place? I'm glad I didn't miss it!
Jinjiang Wulin Traditional Village in Quanzhou is very far from the downtown area, much farther than Liupu Village, but its unique architectural style and the little Nyonya experience made my heart flutter, so I decided to take a taxi there.
There is no admission fee for Jinjiang Wulin Traditional Village, and it's quite large inside. There's a distance from the parking lot to the core scenic area. Those with elderly and children might consider taking the scenic area's electric cart, while those who are physically fit can walk. We chose to ride, and the route in didn't feel too far, but on the way out, because we were tired, it felt very worthwhile.
The architectural styles in the village are diverse and full of character, with the Ming Dynasty's Hundred Blessings Wall, the Qing Dynasty's official red brick mansions, and especially photogenic modern Gothic and Roman-style western buildings.
Dressing up in little Nyonya attire here, I felt as if I had traveled to Nanyang in an instant, with a full sense of immersion~
