Photos of Sunpu Castle Park

Sunfu Castle Park is located in the center of Shizuoka, a park surrounded by two moats and beautiful stone walls. On the site of Shunfu Castle, where Ieyasu Tokugawa was the imperial palace in his later years, the East Gate, Tatsuma, and Kunsura were restored. There are bronze statues of Duke Ieyasu in the garden, as well as a Japanese garden consisting of four gardens and a tea room.
