The Pearl Spring is located next to the Bagong Mountain Scenic Area on the north side of Shouxian County, about 2 kilometers from the ancient city wall of Shou County. The Pearl Spring is known for its charmingly clear water, which is used for making the Bagong Mountain Tofu, a renowned delicacy of the Upper Huai River area. The main attraction of the scenic area is the spring pool, that is, where the spring water rises. From the bottom of the pool, spring water surges in small jets, accompanied by air bubbles of different sizes, which look like strings of pearls. The Pearl Spring is named after this beautiful sight.
