Sifang Street

Sifang Street was the place where horse gangs trade fur goods. Now Sifang Street is full of shops on all sides. You can vaguely feel the prosperity of the year. Follow the stream on Sifang Street and go up against the current, walk through the Qinglong Bridge, and the clear green pool water in a bay is on the side of the road.

Shuhe Ancient Town is a station on the Tea Horse Road. The ancient tea-horse road, which was opened in the Tang Dynasty in history, went directly from Lijiang to Lhasa, Tibet, through Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing for more than 1,000 years of operation and development, and promoted economic and cultural exchanges among people of all ethnic groups along the route. Shuhe is a well-preserved station in Lijiang Bazi. It is an important part of the "World Cultural Heritage" Lijiang Ancient City. Enter Shuhe, you can go directly to Shuhe Center Market, here you will have a sense of déjà vu, this is a square similar to the ancient city of Dayan Town Sifang Street, about 250 square meters, also known as Shuhe Sifang Street, the day of the market is very lively, once Lijiang fur trading distribution place. The square is surrounded by shops, old wooden facades, dark red paint. There are also black and bright blue stones in front of the store, mottled stone slopes at the foot, and old people sitting around, which outline the quaint nature of Shuhe. Standing in the center of the square, you carefully observe and experience, Dayan Ancient Town Sifang Street is completely a copy of Shuhe, Naxi ethnicity from nomadic to farming, and then to the city, from here you can find some traces.

Sifang Street in Shuhe Ancient City is only 30 meters long and wide. There are five roads leading to all directions. The water is surrounded by the city and is one of the oldest markets in Lijiang Bazi. It is located at No. 55 Zhonghe Road, Shuhe Ancient Town, Lijiang.

As a backpacker, from Baisha to Shuhe, from quiet to noisy, walk around the ancient town of Shuhe, to the intersection of Sifang Street. In fact, to feel with heart and take photos with eyes is the essence of tasting Lijiang.
