After only passing by the restaurant for over 20 years, I decided to take my husband for lunch as the place was recommended by several friends. The venue looks as it's trapped in time - probably didn't change much since the seventees, but great food has no time limits. We had fried squid (calamari) from the Adriatic sea served with cooked potatoes and french fries along with cabbage salad. We cleaned up our plates and I'm looking forward to check more from their menu. The prices are more than reasonable, waiters are very friendly and fasty
We were recommended this place by the owner of the house we were staying at. We were made very welcome by the owners son and well looked after. My son and I shared a platter of grilled/barbecued meats, including the local speciality, cevapčići , my wife had sea bass ( served as it came out of the sea, head and all !), others had pasta etc. Everyone enjoyed the food ( except the free octopus salad, we didn't want to offend by not eating it so I got the job of munching my way through the generous portion offered, it was OK but a bit beyond my usual level of adventurousness :) ). The drinks were reasonably priced and all in all was our best meal of the week.
This is one of the best cheap restaurants in the County. The staff is quick and friendly. If you order the daily menu, you will probably get a great meal for a good price. I reccomend the grilled Calamari, because it is form the adriatic, and you won't get the frosen imported stuff, sardines and the cod fish stew.
