Tongwangcheng is the general name of the core area of Angkor. After leaving Little Angkor, I walked north and saw the southern gate. The gate is the same as the inner core Bayon Temple. It has smiling faces and welcomes guests from all sides. The city wall is already incomplete, here It is the essence of the small circle.
Tongwangcheng, also known as the Great Angkor, was the capital of the Angkor dynasty. It was destroyed by wars many times and was later rebuilt. It has been built by the Cambodian King Jepamo VII at the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. Angkor Thom (Angkor Thom), also known as "Great Angkor, Angkor Thom, Angkor Thom, Chaucheng".
it's one of best temple to see in Angkor Wat, I have never seen this kind of temples, so it was worth to visit and spend nice time
the experience is breathtaking and will you wonder how they built this temple out of hardship and love. thanks trip for helping me do the booking.
This spectacular complex has four entrance gates as well as the main temple in the middle, (Thom) where you are whisked around many ancient ruins, with everything from elephants walking to inspired tourists to chat up on your journey. Highly recommend, but need a lot of time to explore the whole thing.
A wonderful place is Angkor Wat and Siem Reap is a good place to visit
