if u want to see the sunrise, it makes more sense to buy the ticket one day before after 5pm. but carefull the office closes at 5.30pm. So u can be there next day in the morning (the temple opens at 5am) for the sunrise.

There's just something really unique when walking around Angkor Wat. Even though most of the structures are in ruins, you can still imagine how it used to look like back in the day.
A superb incredible place to visit! Is hard to believe how such giant civilization disappeared. Going there helps a lot to understand more about the history and learn so many facts. Apart of all the historical, is also a great place for amazing pictures. Feels like you are in a Tomb raider game

A stunning walk into nature-filled temples of tranquility and peace. Angkor Wat’s ancient hallways and patterns laced in the walls pushes you to reflect and capture the intricate details of history’s biggest religious monument. Cambodia is a place of cheap BBQ and fantastic local beers, friendly local people and a buzzing new city landscape. Angkor is alive with the cultural and sublime, the quiet and beautiful.
Angkor Wat is a well-preserved temple among Angkor monuments. This is the location generally referred to when discussing "Angkor Wat". Angkor Wat is not only large in scale, but also perfectly symmetrical. The reliefs are exquisitely beautiful, reflecting the peak of Khmer classical architecture and are printed on the national flag as a symbol of Cambodia. The architecture of Angkor Wat follows the Five Pagoda Temple style. It consists of altars and cloisters and a moat on the periphery, symbolizing the mountains and lakes of Indian mythology. The walls are covered with beautiful reliefs that tell a variety of Hindu myths. In addition to the architecture itself, stunning sunrise and sunset scenes attract many photographers.
