Singapore is an island country located in the tropics. Rich natural plant resources can be seen everywhere in Singapore. Singapore Botanical Garden is the epitome of tropical island flourishing. It combines primitive forest and professional flower garden. It has more than 20,000 kinds of exotic flowers and precious trees in subtropics and tropics. Even a park is a botanical museum. It has a history of more than 100 years. 。 Most importantly, free! Take the light rail from the urban area to arrive directly. Jiangyuan, Evolution Garden, Lanyuan Garden, Tropical Rainforest and so on are all features. Or can you enjoy Singapore's famous Jugi Flowers? It's no problem to go for two or three days!

Don't let the tropical heat keep you indoors; you might miss the singular beauty of being somewhere with lush, abundant biodiversity, trees as tall as buildings, orchids in every shade and color, idyllic ponds where swans and turtles cruise around leisurely. The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a UNESCO world heritage site, an honor that is well-deserved. It's an expansive park, and a great place to have a walk and a picnic, especially on the weekends where sometimes they have concerts in the park. If you're not used to the heat, don't worry, parts of the gardens have treetops and foilage that provide ample shade, but bring an umbrella just in case!

Nominated as a World Heritage Site (Singapore's first), the Singapore Botanics Garden dates back to 1859. It is a great place to be introduced to tropical flora. Giants with enormous buttress roots and bizarre and fascinating works of nature - from cannonball flowers to palms with aerial roots. Pay a fee to go in the orchid garden. It is worth it. The variety of orchids is astounding. Beat the heat by taking an early morning walk at 7am, when the sun rises. You will also see locals doing taichi exercises in the park.

Singapore botanical gardens is lush, and full of other mini gardens, including the orchid garden and ginger garden. The garden is huge and perfect for a whole day of exploring, but be prepared to do a lot of walking.

There's nothing like a stroll here after an international flight to beat off the jet lag - better still, it's open daily from 5am-12 midnight. A botanical garden has occupied this site since 1859, so there are centuries of mature trees to enjoy. If you're staying around Orchard, combine a walk here with exploring the lavish mansions which run the stretch of Nassim Road.

It's a very lovely place to drop by on a weekday's morning. You can throw a picnic on the giant green grassfield and do some jogging afterwards. There are a lot of cute doggies there which I loved the most. You might have to walk a lot but it's worth it trust me. Bring your most comfortable sneakers here. This place is a must-go in Singapore guys :D

I flew from Kuala Lampur Malaysia to Singapore by Air Asia. It was a very short flight about 40 minutes. My main goal was to visit the botanical gardens. It was indeed very inspiring to see the natural beauty around. October was really very hot to walk around. Also my plan was to pay a visit to the beautiful

You could spend all day exploring these tropical gardens. Apart from the orchid area- the garden itself is free. Great for running, picnics with family or just getting away from the city feel. Reminds me of a smaller version of NYC's Central Park.

The most beautiful urban garden I have seen. As far as tourist sights go, this is a highlight of Singapore. If flora is your thing, this is the place to be. There are also plenty of nice open spaces to just lay out and relax.

A huge and well-manicured park in Singapore, the Botanic Gardens is a great place for a long walk and a chance to see a lot of native flora. Also the location of the Orchid gardens. The Botanic Gardens have free entry.
