Haichao Temple Forest Park is located in Dading Mountain, behind Dashanshao Village, Siying Township, where there are lush forests, pools and springs, and a beautiful environment. There is a karst cave at the northern foot of the mountain. The cave is 20-30 meters wide, about 30 meters high, and about 1,000 meters deep. It is divided into upper and lower palaces, with a total area of about 5,700 square meters. The stalactites in the cave are in various poses and expressions, glittering and glittering, exquisitely carved, and after preliminary development, more spectacles emerge one after another. Here, there is an ancient Hai Temple, which was built in the Ming Dynasty and is one of the eight major temples in the Song and Ming Dynasties. Later, it gradually collapsed due to disrepair for a long time. In the 1960s, only the ruins remain. In 1997, Siying Township Government and its subordinate Haichao Office (Village Committee) decided to take advantage of Dading Mountain's location advantages, natural resources and the historical and cultural influence of Haichao Temple to develop and construct forest parks and develop tourism in 9 years. The planned park covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers and has 5 scenic spots, namely the fishing and entertainment scenic spot in front of the mountain; the temple view and karst cave scenic spot; Kongmingquan scenic spot; Bailongtan amusement area; Xiaohaizi Reservoir water park. The first phase of the project, with the reconstruction of Haichao Temple as the main body, started on January 28 of that year, and was completed and opened to tourists in January of the following year. On the original site, 5 double-eaves Xieshan-style Daxiong Hall was built, with 6 left and right wing rooms, all of which are reinforced concrete structures with glazed tile roofs. There is a statue of Buddha in the hall, and the door hangs a plaque with the inscription "Daxiong Hall" written by Zhao Puchu, chairman of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Later, the construction of scenic spots and facilities such as Tianwang Hall, Jigong Tour Difu, Free Life Pond, Turtle Monument, Kong Mingquan, stage for literary and artistic activities, garden in the garden, and skating rope were successively completed. Haichao Temple Forest Park has dozens of scenic spots and playgrounds. The park regularly holds "swing competitions", "folk song festivals" and other temple fairs every year.
