River
Open all day (Local time)
The Avon River lingers in Christchurch, dividing Christchurch into two. This river, the same name as the Avon River in the UK, runs through the beautiful scenery of Christchurch. Sit on the Avon River with a British-style punt and sway slowly on the calm river. Enjoy the enchanting scenery along the way while enjoying the time. It is very romantic.

From the foothills of the flock, you can reach the top of the mountain about 500 meters above sea level in about 10 minutes. From the observatory, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the plains, and the beautiful scenery of the Southern Alps, the South Pacific and Littleton Harbour.

The Monaville Garden was originally a private home and is now being acquired by the local government. The garden is a typical traditional Victorian manor, with the beautiful Avon River flowing through the garden. Walking in the garden is like being in a romantic fairy tale world. The garden centre is a Victorian private home built in the late 19th century but has been converted into a restaurant.

Beach
Open all day. (Local time)
No trip to New Zealand is finished without a visit to one of their many scenic beaches. One of their most well known and attractive beaches is Sumner Beach, which is particularly well known for it's excellent waves for the surfers and very secure swimming waters for the children. If swimming and surfing is not your preferred choice, Sumner Beach offers breathtaking sights of nature including Cave Rock which is a cave formation of ancient volcanic rock created by years of sea erosion. Cave rock permits a view into a mini-ecosystem and is a perfect site for those who would rather see the luscious natural scenery instead of participating in water activities.
