I'm not much of a church expert, but this one is quite nice and appears to be rather old, and to have been carefully restored.

A great example of old Danish churches. Not the most spectacular church on Moen island, however it is the most convenient to visit if you're staying/passing through Stege. Open long hours too.

Worth a visit

Nice frescoes and clean interiors make this church worth visiting. It's pretty nice by end of day when the sunlight gets through the windows.

If in Stege, then look in - doors open daily untill 6 pm

The interior in the church is fairly simple. Huge and light church room. Not very much to see but nevertheless worth a visit.

Refreshing

As a Brit it was really refreshing to see a church with a style differing from the Roman. Make sure you have a good look at the frescos!
