Travelling through northern Scotland as a tour group it was delightful to stop at the Ferrycroft Visitor Centre in Lairg. It has a large outdoor area and an interesting display of the local history. ...

Well worth a visit
This is a brilliant place as it has a wee cafe and it has a mini museum. The museum is interesting and it has a great bit for kids to play and learn.
A useful resource of local knowledge
The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a display to wander round with information on salmon life cycles and local features. There is a small coffee shop and gift shop. There are a couple ...
Well worth a visit
Although just a visitor to Lairg (and Scotland), I found the Visitor Centre at Lairs so interesting. For example, Lairg is an area of unexplained low gravity.
