the restaurant is lovely, nice décor and the food was fantastic and not too pricey either would defo recommend, for Asian food
The location of the store is actually in the Atrium Plaza in the shopping plaza. The map is not accurate when it is located on the other side of the road. It's not authentic Japanese food. There are burgers, cocktails, vegetable salads, and Thai fried rice. The whole restaurant is a mix and match, but the food tastes good, the environment is also very good, and the waiters are more friendly.
This is located next to (outside) the Milaneo mall in Stuttgart. It has a limited menu of mostly Thai dishes. When one orders, they cook it in front of you so you can see the ingredients and know it is fresh and is very tasty. The staff is friendly and offers advise on various dishes. A dish is around 10-12 Euros. The inside is nicely designed and is casual. I saw a promotion that they have a 2 for 1 promotion on alcoholic beverages after 6 pm.
Maybe it's me. I've lived in Southeast Asia for quite a bit, so I know Asian Cuisine. I was expecting more authenticity but Ginyuu unfortunately is "just another" of those fusion restaurants who try to do it all but aren't particularly good at any. Restaurant concept is very similar to Vapiano, which I guess is how they manage to stay in a medium range (price wise). If you like sushi, do not have it here. The curries and noodles are OK though. I wish I could give a more positive review as the staff were really nice and you could see they were trying. Would I come again? Probably not. But then again - are there any better places in Stuttgart for Asian food? I'm not sure.
My girfriend and I, had a nice time and very good asian food there, but in the next few hours we felt sick: after 5 days I still have diarrea!
