I had never been in an Eastern African restaurant before so a friend who lives in Stuttgart took us there. The food was very nice, the space is well decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. However, they lack of staff and the service was very slow. It's a good place to go if you wanna have a quiet evening and are not in a hurry.
We wanted to try some African food and after searching some options which were closed we finally landed here. Food taste was certainly good and authentic but we had to wait for whole 1 hour before we got served. Service is extremely slow and they ran out of their typical bread. We were given options of rice and khus-khus which to our surprise was charged separately. The bread is included in the meal and not charged separately. We were on the verge of cancelling our order and leaving when we got served.
Very good food but service is quite slow... The meat was good, I advise the trying plate with chicken, beef and lamb. Also shame is the incense smell they serve together with tea at the end.
I liked the "probier platte 2" specially the Bamya and the aubergine, perfectly spiced. Its very relaxed, dont go there if ur in a hurry! Just take ur time. Its sometimes challenging to eat Non fingerfood with the fingers, but it can bring up some funny moments... Just enjoy
The highlight is the coffee's African coffee specialty with smoked coal-one of the best I have tasted so far. The service is very friendly and the price is good.
