We had a matinee performance at the Lyric and met up quite early to have a meal with friends. Many of the eateries in Star City weren&#39;t going to be open at the time we needed (10.30-11.00am) so we ended up at Biaggio (lucky us)!! We ate from the all day breakfast menu - as mentioned in my title the Zucchini fritters with goats cheese, poached egg, mushrooms, avocado and tomato relish was to die for - I consider myself a bit of a foodie and I couldn&#39;t fault the dish - oh and the glass of champagne on the side topped it off.

I work nearby hence I come to this Cafe quite often for my lunch breaks. Location is great and relaxing with such a nice harbour view as a background.This is an italian Cafe and part of the staff are italian too. The staff can appear a bit grumpy at a glance but indeed they are all very friendly. I would describe the food as Mod Oz with a bit of italian twist and I can tell that as I am italian born. Definitely recommended!

In terms of my &#39;walk-to-work-options-for-brekkie&#39;, this place would be the David Jones of cafes in the area. While i have been content with the Aldi&#39;s-type of bargain basement coffees and treats i typically go for each morning, I decided to upgrade my usual fruit cup yoghurt routine with the one on offer here. The serving is probably about the same and is $2 more but incorporates figs and nectarines. Sensational!

Located at Pyrmont, with views of sections of the Harbour makes for a pleasant setting. Predominately, outdoor seating. We arrived for brunch, was told to take a table and then waited about 10 minutes for someone to come and take our order. Twice our coffees arrived but were not as ordered, however one coffee ended up being free. The coffee was very good. The freshly squeezed juice ordered, was exceptionally good - it being one of 5 on the menu. The menu itself includes all-day breakfast options (numerous choices available) - not expensive, ranging from $13 to $20. Also included is a lunch menu, about 6 alternatives, averaging around $20. Our mains all included poached eggs - a little disappointing as one person had an egg overcooked, another meal the egg undercooked. My meal was perfect. Overall, service slow, meals varied. Not expensive. Positives - great location and an alternative to eating at the nearby Star Casino which is far more expensive, especially if you are going to the theatre. Would I return? Yes. There were enough good points to our overall experience to warrant a second visit.
