What travelers say:
We visited Cafe Mambo as a family with the in-laws too as we were celebrating two birthdays in the family. It was the Saturday after Mothers Day and it was very quiet (only one other table than us). The decor is nice - mainly black with pictures from around Europe. The menu is extensive, the flavour is good and the servings are very generous. The staff were friendly but not very polished. After we ordered food and drinks we asked two times for some water and after a few minutes I sent my son over to the counter to ask for a third time. The meals all arrived except my husband's.... So the guy asked what he ordered (chicken burger, American as what my son ordered), and they realised the waitress had only written down one of the burgers, not two... So hubby had to wait another ten minutes for his meal... But strange she didn't realise that she had only written down four meals for five people. Also when she cleared the table she leaned across people and stacked plates on top of one another right at the table. With a little more staff training this could be a really great place to go. (Only being fussy about the staff because the prices are good quality restaurant prices not cheap cafe prices eg steak, mash and veges was $35).
