One of our favourite address in Sydney, great food, friendly staff, knowledgeable sommelier, went there about 6 times in the past 9 months and was never disappointed. Great value as the food is very refined and wines and food prices stay reasonable. Great selection by the glass and the staff will be happy for you to try a wine if ensure before ordering.
We walked around the quay looking for something a little special and found this place. It was a Wednesday lunch and got a great table over looking the Quay. It all started off well and we ordered drinks and my Jack Daniels on the rocks stood on the bar for what seemed to be eternity. The staff was great but a few new starters certainly slowed the process. We opted for 3 courses and both the entree I chose and the main were fantastic. The beef was perfect. There was construction at the Hotel and the constant drilling made it impossible to communicate. I ordered a desert with rhubarb and I was very dissapointed as I received 3 strips in a bowl no wider than a matchsticks. I ordered a second Jack Daniels on the rocks and out came one with coke!!! Who would do that? And I had to wait. All in all the food was good, would I go back no, noise drove me nuts. Reunion with family made up for it.
All-in breakfast was a lot to eat, but also a solid breakfast. Nice views at the window tables.
