I've always loved lobsters although I never had it other than the usual mornay. Because it was my birthday my husband took us here so I can get a live lobster & have it cooked the way I want it. I had it cooked with ginger & shallots. Wow! It was so good! Very pricey but it was worth it. The staff were attentive and made sure everything was good at our table.
This is not a cheap Chinese eatery. Best to stir clear of fresh seafood from the tanks unless you had a very good night at the tables or your name is James Packer (he wouldn't, would he?). Now for the good bit. The standard menu is very extensive and based on the 4 main courses we sampled the standard is excellent. The wagyu beef with wasabi dipping sauce is remarkable in its simplicity and great taste. The service is generally quick, efficient and professional. The one last dish was promptly fetched upon our enquiry. The wine list is OTT in both range and price. Could not be said to represent good value, even for a restaurant. Best to stick to beer or tea.
