I and my girlfriend was thinking what to have for our afternoon tea. As we already bought some chicken bites and pearl milk tea, my friend she didn't really want noodle anymore, she still happy to accompany me. then, we decided to walked all the way from town hall QVB to Twisted noodle shop at Dixon street in China town for my afternoon tea as I quite miss their rice noodles. The shop wasn't very bright and tables were half emptied. We wanted to sit outside as we knew we brought our own food but the staff still allocated us to one of the table inside. Straight after we sat down and I was looking on the menu, the staff told us not allowed to eat any food bought from outside, we apologized and told her we would put it away on the table and promised her we were not going to touch it. Another minute after, the same staff came to us and asked my friend to changed her seat from sitting next to me to sitting in front of me on the same table, so she won't occupy other empty table(the shop is half empty and no one was waiting for seat at that moment), so she did. After another minute while I were about to order my dish, another elder lady came out from kitchen (probably the boss?) said that she won't allowed any customers to bring their own food and asked to took away our drinks and take away food to her kitchen, and she said to return them back once we finished and leave the shop. I were so fed up and angry at that point, about to stand up (haven't walked away yet, the elder staff already took away my menu from my hand and throw it back to their kitchen counter! How rude are they? They had no right to take away our opened drinks and food! And they kept giving us hard time that few minutes when we were there! I weren't just sit in their shop and enjoyed my own food, I was ordering from their menu. Me and my fd did not feel welcome at all. Their attitudes ruined our whole day.
