Absolutely top notch for families, Being an inland beach within teh harbour it has very little waves - perfect for young swimmers. The beach is pristine with a very long walk in water for it to get up to your knees. Water is warm thanks to being shallow. Toilets, Coffee / ice cream parlour and toilets nearby. Kiddies playground on the beach front with ample seating and BBQ amenities. - Only downside is $8 parking for 2 hours and to a max of $16 all day. Gets busy !

This little slice of paradise is accessed off the Spit bridge to Manly coastal walk. The colors here are just stunning feels like you've been transported far away from the city but it's really just a little hike away. Nice calm water for snorkelling or SUP.
Great beach for children to visit, playground and lots of shade. Do not have to visit again, because too many kids like me and parking is a nightmare! A perfect beach for young children, including babies and toddlers. Shallow, calm, very clean and clear water. There are many pastures for you to have a picnic and have a nice day.
Small, quiet beach west of Sydney. Ideal to go with the family. The waters are very calm as if they were a natural pool. There are very good views of the marina in front. Highly recommended.
