What people are saying:

Kiama is located 120 kilometers south of Sydney and 35 kilometers from Wollongong. Kiama, a small town surrounded by the sea, pastures and forests, is a well-known beautiful town near Sydney. The town preserves the ancient Australian buildings. In addition to the ubiquitous ancient churches, the town also retains the ancient post office, railway station, market buildings, etc. The surrounding pastures provide the town with fresh and abundant agricultural products such as milk, poultry eggs, and meat. The black pottery is also produced locally, which promotes the production of art, and the town is full of artistic atmosphere. I went there twice on March 13, 2016 and October 8, 2017. Both took T1 and changed to South Coast Line. The journey took more than 2 hours. In 2017, I also went to Nantian Temple and Wollongong. There is a chartered car trip for this route on Ctrip, but it is quite interesting to go by myself! Figure 1: Lighthouse Lighthouse is the iconic landscape of Kiama town; Figure 2: The lighthouse is located on the west side of the spout hole; Figure 3: The lighthouse tower is printed with gold letters commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Anzac and the eternal spirit of the heroes of World War I; Picture 4: The sprinkler hole-the water column is fairly high-an old man is waiting with a cannon-why is it not high enough; Figure 5: A natural swimming pool surrounded by rocks; Figure 6: Seaside landscape; Figure 7: A corner of the sea cliff; Figure 8: Panorama of Storm Bay area; Figure 9: Memorial arches built to commemorate the victims of the First and Second World Wars; Figure 10: Map of Kiama attractions.

lovely to walk around & photograph

lovely to visit when seeing the Blowhole. Don't need to spend a lot of time here, however. Could stay for a picnic and watch the birds / boats. Great seafood available at the marina near-by.

    A lighthouse.

Located a stones throw from Kiama’s famous blowhole, this small lighthouse has a great vantage point over the area. There was plenty of bird life in the area too.

    Look, don't touch

Small by lighthouse standards. It is average in appearance from the outside. Can't tell you what it is like from the inside since it is not open to the public.
