Sawmillers Reserve is located near the famous Blues Point Reserve, on the site of a former sawmill and several port shipyards. Although this is a small protected area, you can enjoy beautiful harbour views, sunshine and shade. You can enter via Munro St side (near Noakes Shipyard) or West Crescent St.

It's great to stroll through this park and read the signs that illustrate the industrial history of the area. Designer Harry Howard (Harry Howard) did a great job. Very quiet place and well maintained. Make sure you go down and look at the shipwreck. There are many places to sit and watch work. If you are hungry, there are many restaurants nearby. You will encounter few steps along the way, but I suggest you continue along the coast to the coal loader that has undergone a magnificent restoration.
