The Longmen Grottoes Yungang Grottoes Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes did not do that. As for the other facilities in the scenic area, it is just embellishment.

Before, there was only one Buddha statue on the mountain. Now many projects have been expanded and many things to see and play have been added.

Formerly known as Weishan Mountain, Baifo Mountain is located in the north of Jiaocun, Dongping Town, Dongping County, Tai'an City, Shandong Province. The Baifo Mountain Grottoes are located in Zhiyang, Baifo Mountain, in the western district of Dongping County. There are 134 large and small statues, divided into 5 parts: Sui Caves, Tang Caves, Xiaotang Caves, Song Caves and open-air sculptures. Among them, the Sui Grottoes were carved in the seventh year of Emperor Kaihuang. The main statue of Amitabha Buddha in the cave is 6.7 meters high, and it is knotted on the waist and raised rosette. The threaded meat bun is low and flat, the face is round, the hands are fearless and willing, and the double-necked drooping robes. This Amitabha statue is hailed by experts as "the first Buddha in the Sui Dynasty in the Central Plains".
