Located in the center of the city of Taipei lies the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. This hall was originally intended to display items portraying the cultural history of Sun Yat-sen. Major relics related to its historical sites were exhibited. This has since evolved over time to function as a hall for award ceremonies as well as for various events involving the performing arts. This major venue in Taiwan is divided into five districts. These include the Memorial Hall, Green Lake, Zhongshan Park, Zhongshan Forest of Stone Tablets, and Zhongshan Park Square. The building contains three stories, each being responsible for a different function.
