The plum blossoms of the Jiangnan Great Wall are in full bloom, attracting a large number of tourists to check in
For people in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, the blooming period of plum blossoms this year is around the Spring Festival, so they can invite friends and family to go on a picnic and enjoy the flowers right after the New Year. Places like Chaoshan, Gushan, the Botanical Garden, and Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou all have large plum gardens, which often become popular places for citizens and tourists. To my surprise, when I came to Linhai Ancient City on the third day of the New Year, I found that there was also a not small plum forest here. One of them is even next to the Taizhou Prefecture City Wall, known as the 'Jiangnan Badaling', which has particularly outstanding scenery.
Fortunately, the scene in front of me is indeed heart-moving. Even if it is difficult to 'climb to the top', no one will give up. It is said that there are more than 200 plum trees including Snow Red, Palace Pink, Cinnabar and other dozens of varieties in the plum garden in front of the Great Wall. They are either red, pink or white, with colorful flowers and various postures. They can be viewed from a distance or appreciated up close. No wonder they have become a must-visit spot for tourists to Linhai recently under the word of mouth among tourists.
Standing on the Jiangnan Great Wall, you can overlook the entire plum garden. Under the bright sunshine, the branches full of bright flowers are set against the antique buildings with flying eaves and the old city houses not far away. Even before you are in the forest, you can smell the long and rich fragrance of flowers coming with the wind. It is really a unique charm that is pleasing to the eye and refreshing to the heart. Unfortunately, my schedule was tight, so I didn't 'drill' into the flower bush to feel it up close.
According to relevant materials, 'Taizhou Prefecture City Wall, also known as Jiangnan Great Wall, Jiangnan Badaling, was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It has been demolished, rebuilt and repaired many times in history. It is more than 6000 meters long and there are more than 5000 meters left. It starts from Lansheng Gate in the east, winds along the ridge of Beigushan Mountain to Yanxia Pavilion, goes straight to the steep rocks of Lingjiang River in the east, extends to the foot of Jinshan Mountain in the west, overlooks the great river according to the mountain, especially the steepest part in the north', and this plum garden is located at its most 'handsome' place.
For friends who come to Linhai for the first time, it is best not to 'be lazy' and go directly to the Great Wall from 'Chaotianmen', unless it is just for enjoying plums. I suggest that you can choose to start from 'Xingshan Gate' on Ziyang Street or 'Lansheng Gate' in front of Donghu Lake, so that you can appreciate the majestic posture of the Jiangnan Great Wall, and have the ancient city and Lingjiang scenery along the way. The biggest advantage is that you can choose whether to continue or not after arriving at the plum garden. Although it is not hard to walk and stop on the Great Wall, if there are elderly and children accompanying, you can adapt to the situation here.
Of course, if you are a real 'lazy person' and don't even want to climb the Great Wall, then I suggest you go directly to Ziyang Street. There is a Jinshan Square on one side, and there are also many planted on the slope behind. Coming down from this plum forest, you can see a large stage and 'Good Food Comes' food street. If you are interested, you can consult the staff and wait for a wonderful performance while eating here. Of course, you can also visit the 'Taizhou Prefecture City Wall Museum' next door to learn more about this scenic spot.
Because everyone prefers to go out for a spring outing and enjoy the plum blossoms these days, I will post this article first. Interested friends can go and check in as soon as possible. After all, the flowering period is limited, and maybe after a wind and rain, you can only wait for the next year.
It is worth coming to citywalk, the East Lake is really beautiful, 14 tickets are cost-effective, we bought a joint ticket for the East Lake + Taizhou City Wall, but pay attention, it seems that it can only be used on the same day, if it is divided into days, it is best to confirm with the relevant departments. The city wall is 2 hours from the Range Rover Gate and the Doing Good Gate. It is worth seeing and walking. Unfortunately, I didn't encounter plum blossoms when I came. I will come back next time.
Not bad, not bad, the Great Wall of Jiangnan is well-deserved, relatively awkward, more majestic, it really feels very good, Linhai is really the location of the heritage cultural symbol of Taizhou, it is really good.
The city wall is still quite magnificent, about an hour long climb. It is worth climbing. There are nine bonfire stations in which each of them is different. It is a good experience. The plum blossoms in Meiyuan are quite beautiful. There are several shortcomings that are still maintained and affect the view a little. The environment in East Lake is good. But 🌸 is a bit embarrassing for fake flowers.
Two brushes in half a year. First time friends and family. The atmosphere of the Spring Festival is full, and the commercial street door is shavings, very beautiful. The sachets are also started again, there are many shops in line, and they can only be skipped. The Great Wall's brother went to climb this time, and there were a lot more people on the city wall. Very good scenic spot, comfortable Linhai
Taizhou Fucheng, built in Jin, became a national historical and cultural city. Taizhou Fucheng Cultural Tourism Area has a total area of 3.12 square kilometers, including famous attractions such as the Great Wall of Jiangnan, Ziyang Ancient Street, Donghu Night Moon, Jingshan Tower Shadow, and rich tourism resources.
We walked from the south gate to the north, which took a total of 3 hours. At the beginning, there will be multiple steps, which is steep. The legs that really climb have to burn up. The distance behind the top is relatively easy. A total of eight gun buildings will be walked through. The scenery along the way is good and it is recommended.
