What people are saying:

Pakuri Temple is located on the mountainside of the seaside next to Yashima. Compared with the noisy big scenic spots, it is relatively clean. It shows that it was built by Japanese monks in the Tang Dynasty when they returned from the country. It is also considered to have a long history. The mountain peaks backed by the sea are extremely scenic. A good place, overlooking the city, looking out over the Seto Islands, up the mountain, you can choose a trail or the Yakuri cable car, it is recommended that the trail is not far away~

    My oasis

I go to Yakuriji every time I'm in the area. I like to climb the mountain from the back road. As you go up the hill, temperature drops and air changes. Feels pretty good!

    Hidden gem

Pretty much unknown from tourists, Yakuri-ji is one of those great small temples hidden in nature and in the mountains. A must-see in Takamatsu.

Additional Information

The temple is found on the mountainside of Wujian Mountain on the opposite side of the island. The hill shows the appearance of a hilt that protrudes from a sword and is described by the locals as a mysterious place. The scenery is very beautiful and the interior of the classical architecture is also very stylish. Because of the worship of the Tianzun who can bless business, it is well known and has many believers.
