Henry B. Plant Museum

The moving ancient building next to the University Museum of Tampa was originally the Tampa Bay Hotel built in 1891 and opened with 511 hotels. The hotel also has Florida's first elevator, which is still running, and the building is made of reinforced concrete. A classic and fire-resistant hotel covers 150 acres and includes a golf course, bowling alley, racecourse and an indoor heated swimming pool.
