An ancient port on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea always tells the story of falling in love and killing each other when it is willing or unwilling. I used to think this was a place of war, but I didn’t expect to see such a beautiful scenery! The old town of Jaffa in Tel Aviv feels a touch of ancient Greek style, and the scenery of the Mediterranean makes people happy!
Really nice old town with lots of history and culture. It could be better kept though. There are some parts that are left to ruin which is sad.
Unmissable place to visit in Tel Aviv - Jaffa is actually a wholly different city, but it can be easily reached via a walk on the waterfront. Old Jaffa is packed with history, interesting sights, art galleries, lovely shops and restaurants. The view of Tel Aviv from the hill is spectacular.
Ancient city in Jaffa (יפו believed to be named after Noah's son, Japhet) also where diverse religions unite! There is also artists' colony.
