About Brisbane City Council

Brisbane City Hall is the hallmark of Brisbane and Australia's more splendid town hall. This Italian-style Renaissance-style prismatic tower was built in 1930. The big clock on the bell tower is ringing every 15 minutes to remind Australians to cherish time and not to waste time. The Brisbane City Hall exudes an old-fashioned atmosphere and takes the elevator to the inner observation deck, overlooking King George Square on the edge of the City Hall and Brisbane’s chessboard-like streets, as well as slowly flowing through the city. Brisbane River.

Brisbane City Hall is a must-come place. There is the largest bell tower in Australia. It is said that only the mayor can work here. The whole building is very tall and has four floors. The mayor's office is on the second floor. This place can visit the reception hall of the mayor's office, and there is a wall outside the mayor's office. There are exchange badges of various sister cities. You can find Chongqing and Shenzhen. They are both sisters of Brisbane. There is also a very large auditorium on the second floor of the city, which can hold various activities. It is said that there is the largest organ in Australia. On the top floor, there is also a museum in Brisbane. It is said that it is free to visit. We have time to see it, but because of the color of our trip. Hurriedly. So I missed it. The whole point here and professional guides here can take you to visit free of charge, and you can follow them when you have time.

Brisbane City Hall, located on Albert Avenue in the centre of the city, faces King George Square. It is the symbol of Brisbane, Australia's largest and most magnificent city hall. This prismatic tower with Italian Renaissance style was built in 1930. It is built with brown and yellow sandstone and 92 meters high. The lobby of the city hall is tall and its magnificent pillars remind you of the temples of ancient Greece. The tower on the top of the tower is quite Southern European. The design of the tower is based on the Bell Tower of Saint Mark in Venice, Italy, and it is divided into four sides. Visitors "Directional Guide" can see it anywhere in the city; the bell on the bell tower rings every fifteen minutes, sounding and ringing in the same way as the British Parliament bell. It is said that it is to remind the leisurely and slow-paced Australians to cherish time and not waste their time. Before the Sydney Opera House was built in 1971, Brisbane City Hall was Australia's most expensive building, so it was called Million Pound Town Hall. From 2010 to 2013, the city hall was closed for three years to rebuild. We arrived at the City Hall around 10 a.m. and went to the Museum of Brisbane on the third floor to collect tickets for the Bell Tower View Desk. We visited the Bell Tower View Desk at 10:15:16:45 every day for free. The tickets could not be booked in advance. Every day we arrived first, first served, the quota was full, the appointed time was out of date. We were arranged for the 11:15 batch, and there were only 6 people in each batch. About the same time, some staff led us to take an old-fashioned elevator that looked very old and climbed up to the viewing platform slowly. It is said that all the staff here are Brisbane natives. They climbed the viewing platform and looked around at the street scenery of Brisbane, feeling different from the ground view. Subsequently, we visited Museum of Brisbane on the third floor, Sister Cities Room on the second floor and Lord Mayor" s Foyer on the first floor. The Mayor's Hall displays giant photos of 16 former Mayors of Bu; the sister city exhibition hall not only lists the list of friendly cities, but also presents gifts from friendly cities to Bu City, which are included in Shenzhen and Chongqing of China; the exhibition hall of the museum introduces the changes of the city over the past 100 years, through oil paintings, photographs, images and so on, and especially introduces Buli. There is also an interactive place for visitors to record for 60 seconds, called Brisbane Memory, which can record your stories about Brisbane and share them with you. Of course, the city hall's office space and special purpose places are not open to the public. It will take another hour and a half to circle it like this.

Brisbane City Hall is one of the most important scenic spots for visiting Brisbane Village. Its architecture is elegant, with its brown and yellow exterior walls and columns supporting the bell tower and the observation platform for climbing the telescope. Municipal halls can be visited in specific areas, but because they are also office space, most of the areas are still closed. On the first floor, I remember the Leaders'brochure. On the first floor, the second floor and the third floor, there are some exhibits, which can help us understand the historical story of the city and the building. The most important thing is to visit the Bell Tower. Every 15 minutes, there are a group of people, no batch limit of 7 people. They take the passenger ladder to the 5th floor (it seems that they can't remember clearly) to collect tickets. The number of people per day is limited, so they should arrive early. Fortunately, we got the second batch of tickets and went upstairs by an old hand lift. The Bell Tower area is a circular platform. It can overlook the city in 10 minutes. Queen Street, CBD, Abbott Church and so on are all in sight. It is very beautiful.

Brisbane City Hall is the largest and most magnificent city hall in Australia. This 86-year-old building is the most expensive one in Australia. Centennial buildings, carefully maintained, lasting and refreshing, stand proudly. Surrounding new buildings, new areas and old cities, each other shining, integrated. You can climb to the top and enjoy the scenery of Brisbane 360 degrees. You can also choose to sit in the front of the open-air square and enjoy the surrounding scenery. There are also open-air performances from time to time.

Local ancient buildings, free of charge. The circular auditorium on the second floor is so large that you can feel it. The third floor is the Brisbane Museum, which is small in size and not very rich in exhibits. Just browse around. It's just across the street from Pedestrian Street, so you can watch it together. Passing by this place in the evening, new people are celebrating in the square, and the night scene is very good.

This is the most central location in Brisbane, beside which there is a cathedral, which is magnificent inside the Parliament Building and can be experienced. Although the Bell Tower is no longer the tallest building in Brisbane, it has a comprehensive view of the city. It is worth seeing the tall buildings and the seaside.

Brisbane City Hall is the most important building in Brisbane. It is a Baroque Bell Tower with a history of more than 200 years. It has a bell tower of ten stories high and looks very long. The city hall can be visited, the vast lobby and the city council hall like an opera house are impressive.

The city hall is a gem! Stubbled across a free senior citzs concert on a tuesday, this town certainly looks after its oldies... the main concert hall is majestic. Tour up to the observatory, free museum... then an absolutly delightful cafe downstairs.... The Shingle Cafe... feels like you39;39;re in Europe somewhere.

Return the rented car and cross a road. Many people, some local people are doing promotional activities, others are standing on the roadside smoking. All kinds of people, really a metropolis in the world
