What people are saying:

Lake Kussharo is the largest crater lake in Japan. The lake is calm, so there are many water activities. In addition to fishing in the lake, canoeing on the lake is the most popular sport! A pair of two rowed on the crystal clear lake to see the verdant green tunnel in summer, the red maple along the coast in autumn, and the sparkling transparent lake in winter, decorated with frosted flowers and decorated with trees along the coast. White through the foggy ice, like coming to the fantasy world of Frozen reality!

    Pretty lake

Lake Kussharo is pretty and relatively untouristed. It's pristine with very little development on the shore. I hope it stays that way. On a sunny day, the lake is a beautiful blue.
