Lake Mashu is a heritage site of Hokkaido. This lake formed by a volcanic eruption is one of the lakes with the highest water transparency in the world. It is said that the water depth can be seen more than 30 meters. The lake is surrounded by cliffs and cliffs, often shrouded in mist. The water surface is blue and very quiet, as if entering a paradise. In Japan in the 1960s, there was a song called "Lake Mashu in the Mist" which was very popular. The locals also believe that those who see the sunny Mashu Lake without fog will think that the date of marriage will be far away; if the lovers see the sunny Mashu Lake together, they will break up; and their careers will not be successful, etc.
