This is a good local place for breakfast. We had our choice of 2 eggs (any style) with a choice of either Portuguese sausage, bacon, or corned beef hash, and toast with coffee - all for $8. This was reasonably priced compared to others

Stopped in and we both had a pulled pork plate that was very delicious. We were the only ones there at 430pm, so please go eat there. They have excellant food at a great price

We didn&#39;t know that almost everything local closed on Sunday. We left the Mauna Kea Hotel on Sunday morning in search of a local breakfast. We got an omelette and pancakes. Great prices. Local people. I think we were the only tourists there. This is between Hawi and Kapaau on the main highway.

Had a very bad experience. Ordered and paid for for my food, which was very good, but put my purse down at my table, then moved to outside table leaving my purse. No other customers except 2 ladies and my group were their. Left the Cafe and down the road realized my purse was missing and returned to the Cafe and no customers were their and no purse. Reported to Police the incident and they went to the Cafe and supposedly questioned workers, but the one who had waited on me had left for the day.I think with my purse, but never heard from Police report who I guess questioned her, Remember NO other people were at the Cafe and I never heard from my purse, so watch your purse and anything else if you decide to eat at CSC Cafe in Kapaau, Hawaii&gt; Definitely ruined my day, but someone enjoyed several hundred dollars of my money at this Cafe. Thank goodness they did not use my credit card, which I had to cancel.

While exploring the big island Hawaii on our recent visit, we asked about eateries that were locally owned and were directed to the CSC Cafe. This is a small cafe with about 8 tables, not big on atmosphere but definitely big on taste and portion size! Diana and her family were extremely friendly and her mom still does much of the cooking in the kitchen. My husband had walnut, honey chicken and it was delicious! White rice and macaroni salad are usually served with meals purchased throughout the big island. I had a large scoop of Kona coffee and a scoop of coconut ice cream--just wonderful flavors and the best price on the west side of the island! Diana was also helpful with information about other locations for us to visit. We would definitely eat there again on a future visit.
