Danding Square

Dante is a famous Italian Renaissance poet, and Dante Square is located at the intersection of two roads outside the Italian Style Zone, which is a roundabout (turntable) on the road, with a statue of Dante. Tianjin Italian style area, after the invasion of China by the eight countries in the late Qing Dynasty, Italy set up a concession in China, is the largest Italian style complex outside the Italian mainland. The 100-year-old buildings in the area are mostly preserved and there are many famous Italian characters and mythological figures. Sculptures (Marco Polo, Dante...), some of the social celebrities in modern China have also lived here (Liang Qichao, Cao Yu, Yuan Shikai, Feng Guoyu...), leaving many historical imprints. Now it has been restored and transformed into Tianjin Italian style area.

Tianjin Yifeng District has a Dante Square, located on the south side of Marco Polo Square, and in the southern Italian city of Naples, there is a Dante Square in honor of the Italian Renaissance poet Aligueri Dante. Tianjin Dante Square has a statue of Dante, which is also a distribution center for sightseeing.

Dante Square is at the end of the Italian style street, very spectacular, the square is very beautiful, but the role is a roundabout on the road, many cars can not walk into to see for fear of being hit by the car.

In the original Italian 🇮🇹 leased land, this is the only overseas leased land in Italy.
