Yuandeguo Club

The former German Club is located at the intersection of Jiefang North Road and Rui Road (formerly the German Concession William Street and Rorscheit Street), now 273 Jiefang South Road. The building was built in Qingguangxu 33 (1907) and was a social and entertainment center for Germans in Tianjin at the beginning of the last century. The building is three floors with basement, brick and wood structure, and the whole building shows a distinctive Germanic architectural style.

One of the landmark buildings in the Tianjin De Concession in the last century. At present, it has been rebuilt as a western restaurant, providing catering and conference services to the outside world. Western food is more authentic. It is one of the nostalgic places that some old citizens in Tianjin like to go to. The new building on the edge of the old building is the new building of the Tianjin Municipal Political Consultative Conference Club, the activity place of the members of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and also provides catering and accommodation to the outside world.
