Akihabara, one of my favorite places in Tokyo, is a paradise for all anime fans like me. Once you come out from Akihabara station, all anime, comic, games posters are everywhere. Arcade, UFO (doll catching machine), comic character models, you can find all your favourite characters here. We spent quite a lot of money on doll catching game, but somehow when you spent a certain amount and still unable to catch your doll, their friendly staff will give you a helping hand to ‘adjust’ the doll in an easy catch position, so... spend more and you will definitely get a doll home!
vintage game maid cafe ufo catcher figuring shop to archade .. all can be found in this area .. even you are not a fan of toy game figrue .. but there is no harm for walking down this interesting street , skip the shine for a day . visit her try your luck on those big soft toy catching machinese . in short the ufo catcher .
I picked Akihabara to stay based on comments I had read online and I wasn't disappointed. Akihabara is very easy to get to as it's in the middle of Tokyo and quite close to Tokyo station if you decide to take the train. at night there are beautiful things to see and do. lots of manga/anime shops, arcades, maid coffees, video games shop..
