I went to Salt while visiting my daughter in Toronto and we love dining out and trying great restaurants. When you enter the restaurant you feel you are in a cozy warm space with ambiance that may be from the hundreds of wine bottles on shelves all around the restaurant. The " tapas" are generous portions and we shared 5 excellent dishes plus a delicious watercress said. I highly recommend the scallops and pork belly (very rich and delicious), the crab cakes, ribs, charcuterie and grilled octopus. We had a great server with much knowledge of dishes and wines. Overall, a 5 star evening and for 100$ each including tip, a bit pricey but very well worth it. Not over the top for a fabulous meal in Toronto and that included martine before supper and two glasses of wine.
