Osgoode Hall

I built it here in 1932, a milestone in Toronto's political and legal community, named after the first justice of Ontario, and it is now the site of the Court of Justice of Ontario, the Criminal Department of the High Court of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association, known as the Chief Court of Ontario, and it is said that the highlight is on the second floor. Osgoode Hall, built from 1829 to 1832, is situated on the west side of the City Hall. It is sheltered by green trees and away from the noise of Queen St. It is a landmark building in the downtown area of Toronto. It is rich in Late Georgian Palladian and Neoclassical styles.
