Nagoya City is associated with Osaka Castle, and Kumamoto Castle is collectively known as "the three most famous cities in Japan." Nagoya Castle was built in 1612 by Tokugawa Ieyasu. It was destroyed by the Second World War and the surviving buildings were restored in 1959. The biggest feature of Nagoya City belongs to his more than 2,000 cherry trees.
Among them, the Tianshou Pavilion is the place where the Tokugawa family lived. It is accessible from the avenue on the right side of the main entrance. This is a five-story building with two sides of the roof and the female body of a golden animal head. . The interior of the castle tower has been renovated and its wooden structure has been unreserved and an elevator has been added. The museums set up in the castle tower show artifacts such as door paintings and weapons.
The current castle tower is a reinforced concrete structure that was rebuilt as a symbol of Nagoya after World War II. After half a century of baptism, the aging and earthquake resistance of the castle tower has once again become a problem. In order to solve this problem and let the world better understand the true value of Nagoya Castle as a special historical relic, Nagoya Castle Tower is carrying out the restoration of wooden structures.

In the shadow of the greenery, I went to Nagoya Castle, which is the heart of the city. Nagoya Castle is a representative flat castle in the Edo period. It is also the main residence of Ogura, also known as Jincheng. Nagoya Castle, together with Osaka Castle and Kumamoto Castle, is collectively known as "the three famous cities in Japan."

There is no lively food in Osaka, no quaint architecture in Kyoto, and Nagoyas position in Kansai is a bit awkward, but its fresh and quiet and rich cultural heritage is indeed the most unexpected surprise in Kansais trip;
Nagoya, which was blazed by a frog trip, is the hometown of the frog son. The most famous one is the Tianshou Pavilion in the ancient city. It is also the first postcard sent by the frog son~
Also known as Kinjo, Nagoya Castle is a landmark of Nagoya which joins Osaka Castle and Kumamoto Castle as one of the "Three Famous Castles" in Japan. Visitors can take an elevator up to the top floor of the main keep for views over the surrounding streets. In addition to a large variety of historical relics, the castle also features a large number of models, scenes, and games to entertain visitors.

I live in Nagoya, and I always go back to Nagoya Castle whenever I feel like to. Spring is the best time to go to Nagoya Castle. There are a lot of Cherry Blossoms around the area. The castle and the Cherry Blossom absolutely look mesmerizing in the pictures. Most importantly, Food Stalls inside sell a Cherry Blossom ice cream for ¥300. Winter in Nagoya Castle is not that scenic, though, the beauty of the castle will always be high level. Been there again last December 2019. During that time, the ice cream flavors for sale inside the castle were Berries and Green Tea. Entrance fee is still ¥500, and an additional ¥500 if you go inside the main castle tower. Unfortunately, the main castle tower is closed currently because it was damaged from the recent earthquake.
