On a sunny summer day with cloudless weather, my friend and I drove to the lovely border city of Tumen. The first stop was Tumen Riguang Mountain. We only heard that Riguang Mountain is beautiful. I saw it today. It is indeed beautiful. Standing halfway up the mountain, you can see the city of Namyang in North Korea on the opposite side (Figure 9). Tumen is a border port city, and it has a lot of history. It also has a very strong original culture of the Korean ethnic group. The city has a good style and is a clean and tidy city.

Nikko Mountain Scenic Spot is on the same tourist line as Tumen Port and Tumen River Plaza. If it is not a self-driving tour, it is best to rent a taxi. The price ranges from 100 yuan to 200 yuan, depending on the number of attractions. Buses to Sunlight Mountain stop at the foot of the mountain, and the various scenic spots from the foot of the Sunlight Mountain to the mountain are not only scattered, but also have a long distance. If you plan to walk up the mountain, you must take into account the physical strength of walking down the mountain. It is basically impossible to get a taxi on the mountain. The taxis to and from the mountain are almost full of tourists. The Sunshine Mountain Scenic Area is very large. The roads up the mountain are well repaired. The entrance fee to the scenic area is free, but some scenic spots are charged, and some scenic spots have very good names. In fact, they are very general in viewing and interesting, such as the so-called Mongolia Daying. The main attractions along the way up the mountain are Nanyang Pavilion, Sculpture Park, Sunlight Mountain Flower Sea Folk Customs Garden, Huayan Temple, Tiger Ridge, Lion Watching Terrace, etc. After passing the Lion Watching Terrace for more than 10 kilometers, you can reach the border between China and North Korea on the Tumen River at the foot of the mountain and get close to North Korea. Of course, this distance is only suitable for tourists who travel by car and chartered taxis. Climbing the main peak of Sunlight Mountain, you can see the scenery of China and North Korea on both sides of the Tumen River. Walk from the foot of the mountain to the main peak of Sunlight Mountain, including sightseeing, and walk back to the foot of the mountain for about 4~5 hours.
